Litigation roles- Barrister/Solicitor - Caribbean - 4PQE-SENIOR - Bermuda
Our client is a niche Caribbean firm with a strong international presence. They undertake a broad range of top-value work but focused on contentious matters. The success of the practice and an increasing client base and workload means the firm would be keen to appoint high-calibre contentious lawyers. Barristers and/or solicitors will be considered, and you must be qualified in a UK or other Commonwealth jurisdiction and have solid litigation experience over at least 4 years’ PQE (to 10 PQE, or more senior for exceptional applicants) with a respected Chambers or rated London, national or international firm. You must also have good experience in any or all of corporate/commercial litigation, trust litigation, or contentious insurance matters. Offshore experience would be valued but is not essential. Good academics and an enthusiasm for business development are also desirable. These are not frontline advocacy roles but some advocacy work will be undertaken so some experience in this area will be useful. This is a progressive firm offering a real chance of great responsibility, work and prospects in a fabulous location, and would be a great move for any ambitious litigation practitioner.
